KnowYourFinance is an independent financial research platform. To keep our tools free for you (like the Card Advisor and Lounge Atlas), we may maintain commercial partnerships with some financial institutions and networks.
The website does not route users through external application, referral, or issuer source links. Card pages focus on research, value modeling, and internal comparison tools.
No "Pay to Play" Rankings
Our core promise is trust.
1. We do not sell rankings. You cannot buy the #1 spot on our "Top 100" list. That spot is earned by the card's calculated net value.
2. We review everyone. We review and list cards even if they don't pay us a standard commission, because our goal is to show you the entire market landscape.
3. We highlight flaws. If a partner card has a bad devaluation or hidden fee, we will write about it.
Editorial Independence
Our writers and researchers are tasked with one job: finding the truth about financial products. Partner banks do not get to preview, approve, or edit our reviews before they are published.
